One of Midas Hotel and Casino’s initiatives is to keep on honing hoteliers who are excelling in their own areas while showcasing the true spirit of Filipino hospitality. Meet the Midas representatives who received their plaques of recognition on November 18 at the Mabuhay Awards 2019, a program by the Association of Human Resources Managers (AHRM) that recognizes the best rank and file staff in the hotel and restaurant industry.

Camille G. Domingo, Commis III
AHRM 24th Mabuhay Awardee (Heart of the House Category)

Camille established a solid foundation and a harmonious working relationship with other departments. Her contributions at work and remarkable professionalism paved the way for her to be awarded as the Model Associate for the 4th quarter of 2018. She was also shortlisted as one of the finalists of Midas Annual Heroes & Gems Award 2018, wherein she bagged the Annual Model Associate Award in the Heart of the House Category. She is also scheduled to receive a Service Award next year in recognition of her loyalty to Midas for 5 years.

Jancen G. Tabelino, Housekeeping Supervisor
AHRM 24th Mabuhay Awardee (Supervisor Category)

Jancen has established a friendly rapport with his co-supervisors and subordinates and was able to maintain his role as a junior leader. All his hard work and perseverance to serve were acknowledged by the Management wherein he received the Model Associate Award for the 3rd quarter of 2018. He was also shortlisted as one of the finalists for the Midas Annual Heroes & Gems Award 2018 and bagged the Annual Model Associate Award in the Supervisor Category. He also received the Service Award last December 2018 year in recognition of his loyalty to Midas for 5 years.

Engr. Jun is a father-like figure at work and his staff often call him Tatay, as he projects to be strict but someone who is dear to them. All his projects were acknowledged by everyone due to its successful implementation throughout his entire service to Midas, and with Management’s recognition – he was awarded with the Model Associate Award for the 1st quarter of 2018. He was also shortlisted as one of the finalists of Midas Annual Heroes & Gems Award 2018, wherein he bagged the Annual Model Associate Award in the Manager Category. He is also scheduled to receive a Service Award this year in recognition of his loyalty to Midas for 10 years.
