Midas Hotel and Casino’s Midas Café launches Korean menu
Now, you can savor the sweet and spicy flavors of Korea with Midas Café’s newest addition: its mouth-watering Korean dishes.
Sample the Midas Café version of your favorite Korean dishes such as Bibimbap, Jabchae, Galbi Jim and Bolgogi or try other Korean specialties such as Dak Gangjeong or crispy chicken with honey soy sauce and Eomuk Bokkeum or stir-fried fish cake.
“We added the Korean menu in Midas Café as response to our growing Korean guests. There have been an influx of Korean patrons in the area and they’ve been looking for their favorite Korean dishes when they’re here,” said Ryann Timbre, Casino Marketing Manager of Midas Hotel and Casino.
The Korean dishes are prepared by Midas Café chefs trained by Chef Lily Min (Baik Jong Ran), the restaurant’s Korean food consultant. Chef Lily studied Korean cooking in Sookmyung Women University and the Creative Culinary Institute of Korea in South Korea. She taught cooking classes for the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines.
“This addition in our menu will add more convenience to our Korean guests and we take this as part of our service to them. Of course, Filipinos looking for authentic Korean dishes are also very welcome to enjoy our Korean menu here,” added Chef Ronald Catipan, Executive Sous Chef of Midas Hotel and Casino.
Midas Hotel and Casino’s Korean menu is now available in Midas Café and through the hotel’s in-room service. For reservations, contact (+632) 902 0100 ext. 8198, 8154 or email restaurants@midashotelandcasino.com
